Taylor Swift is notorious for writing “tell all” songs about the men she has dated. She follows a rule of thumb for all writers, write about what you know. So naturally, when listening to the country sweetheart’s newest love song, “Ours”, I’m thinking who is this one about? Joe Jonas? Taylor Lautner? John Mayer? Cory Monteith? Jake Gyllenhaal? Shockingly, at the end of the music video Swift runs into the arms of a soldier who seems to be coming home from deployment. Didn’t expect that one Taylor … Are you a fan of TSwift? Army Staff Sgt. Patrick Jacobson and his family were robbed earlier this month, just weeks before Christmas, reported the local ABC affiliate. Their home was ransacked, with computers, games systems, a TV and all the Christmas gifts gone. Also gone: The money Jacobson had saved to visit his sons in New York after selling his truck. Jacobson had hoped to see his sons before deploying in less than two months. “It’s just pure evil,” said Jacobson’s stepdaughter, Tatianna Young. Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney made a stop in Manchester, N.H., at a local restaurant where he met Vietnam veteran Bob Garon. The conversation started off with Romney inquiring about Garon’s service and thanking him for it. “Didn’t we make a bet that you said when we finally came out of Iraq you’d let me shave your head one more time?” General Raymond Odierno asked Stephen Colbert, during Odierno’s second appearance on the Colbert Report. “No we did not!” Colbert said grinning ear to ear with an audience cheering in the background “DO IT , DO IT , DO IT!” Giggling, Colbert said, “Unless the President is about to appear on that screen behind you, with all due respect you can go to hell.” (at about the 4 minute mark) Gen. Odierno and Colbert also brushed up on…
United States Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno will be appearing on The Colbert Report tonight. This is the General’s second appearance on Stephen Colbert’s satire TV newscast. Back in June of 2009 Odierno was Commanding General, Multi-National Force, Iraq while Colbert taped his show in Saddam Hussein’s former palace for an audience of American troops. It was infamous because even President Obama made a cameo on the show and ordered Gen. Odierno to shave Colbert’s head. Take a look. [HTML1] Maybe this time Colbert will shave Odierno’s head …
